Join Border Angels for their first ever Faith, Hope and Charity Brunch on February 14, 2014. This Brunch will help fund their educational efforts for 2014 as they visit schools across the country on “teaching acceptance” and helping to mentor youth and encourage social justice. Border Angels has an internship program with local high schools and international college students.
They will honor Gilberto Bosques (saved 40,000 Jews in WWII as Mexican Consul General to France); recently retired judge Irma Gonzalez a national inspiration to many of us and Madre Antonia (the former Beverly Hills socialite that visited Tijuana, became a Nun and started her ministry in Tijuana’s notorious La Mesa Prison).
They will also present the new Board of Directors for 2014 headed by Sara Gurling and thank our previous board and former President Ricardo Griswold del Castillo. Border Angels hopes you can join them for this Valentine’s Day Brunch so you can help us spread the love.
