SDLRLA is proud to host the only Mayoral Forum in San Diego that will focus on Latino issues. We hope that you will join us on May 31, 2012 from 6:30 – 7:30 at University of San Diego’s Shiley Theater.
SDLRLA, together with its partnering organizations, will ask the candidates about their views on immigration, education, labor, criminal justice, and other issues that uniquely affect San Diego’s Latino community, in a town hall style format. Award winning journalist Joanne Faryon, host of KPBS’ Evening Edition, and Elsa Sevilla, producer and host of KPBS’ San Diego’s Historic Places, will co-moderate. Over 600 will be in attendance, including representatives from the Latino legal, business, education, health, and non-profit sectors.
