Last Wednesday at University of San Diego’s Shiley Theater an estimated 400 members of the community joined SDLRLA and its partnering organizations to hear from the top four polling candidates for Mayor of San Diego: David Alvarez, Mike Aguirre, Kevin Faulconer and Nathan Fletcher.
Hailed as “beautifully executed from the registration table to the close of the Forum” and “the most educational debate so far,” SDLRLA was thrilled to have the event co-moderated by Joanne Faryon and Elsa Sevilla, who were a power team in keeping the candidates on topic and interacting with questioners from the audience.

Having heard from the candidates, we hope that we will see all of our attendees at the polls for the upcoming special election!
