The Mexican American Bar Association (of Los Angeles) launches a Federal Judicial Externship Program.
The Mission of MABA’s Federal Judicial Externship Program is to increase access to prestigious and highly coveted externship positions in federal district and appellate courts for Latino/a students in Los Angeles. The Program will select three (3) exemplary Latino/a law students to serve as judicial externs for 10 weeks in the summer of 2013.
The federal judges who have graciously agreed to host MABA’s three externs are:
United States District Court Judge James Otero
United States District Court Judge Phillip Gutierrez
Judge Richard Paez of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit
