Please join SDLRLA’s Political Affairs Committee as it represents our organization at the Voice of San Diego’s second annual Politifest on Saturday, September 29th, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at Liberty Station’s Ingram Plaza. This is a free event with ample parking. Politifest was created to provide a fun, family-friendly event where San Diegans can learn about issues that impact our community. The festival gives people the opportunity to hear from local civic groups and non-profits, fellow citizens, and candidates for local office like mayoral candidates Bob Filner and Carl DeMaio (who will participate in a Lincoln-Douglas style debate). Last year more than 100 community organizations and 1,200 people participated in the event.
