En La Comunidad (In the Community)

En La Comunidad is a program inspired by the association’s members to help the San Diego Community by engaging with San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association. Many of our lawyers went into the field of law to help other people overcome obstacles that they themselves overcame on their own journey. Our lawyers are experienced and knowledgeable in their respective fields and look forward to the opportunity to advocate for good people in unfortunate situations.  En La Comunidad will collaborate with other organizations to help our Latinx community whenever feasible.  Our goal is to inform our community about their legal rights and options by creating events to provide information and resources in areas of need, such as education, tenant rights, immigration, and employee rights.
