SDLRLA members, let’s keep the momentum going! We’ve had an incredible turn out at our first two AMISTAD members mixers and we hope that you’ll join us for number 3! As always, AMISTAD will take place on the second Tuesday of the month, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This month, it will be at MOSAIC Wine Bar in North Park. If you haven’t been there yet, please come check it out. They have terrific wines, and have been voted “Best Gourmet Pizza in San Diego.” Their sangria and sparkling peach prosecco is incredible, as are their fish tacos! And wait until you see their Mosaic Hot Brownie Sundae! And on Tuesdays, MOSAIC offers half off all bottles of wine.
On top of great food and drink, there will be excellent company. We are co-hosting this event with MANA de San Diego, a phenomenal organization whose mission and passion is to assist young girls and women, by providing them with skills, tools and the support they need to succeed. It is then very appropriate that our AMISTAD this month takes place on Equal Pay Day- a day which symbolizes how far into 2013 a woman must work to earn what men earned in 2012. So, come! Mix, mingle, expand your network and make new friends. And who knows? You may win a fun little prize while you’re there!
