Your SDLRLA Board of Directors spent 6 months working on the new organization logo with award winning marketing and design firm, Hall & Lien. Hall and Lien Creative Agency was founded by award-winning Art Director Tom Lien and marketing expert Tori Hall. Hall & Lien has established itself as a major player in the design industry by working with clients such as Mug Root Beer, Huggies, Gatorade, Lunchables, Oscar Mayer, TRESeme and CVS. Now, Hall & Lien can add SDLRLA to that list!
Tori Hall worked with us on the project, personally. She was remarkably patient as she worked with the Board to address 14 people’s ideas, concerns and goals for the new organization logo. The idea was to update SDLRLA’s look and to come up with a logo that our diverse membership base could relate to.
The symbol of the sun stands for truth and light. It represents vitality, vigor, power and leadership, as well as dignity, courage, creativity and knowledge. The SDLRLA Board of Directors felt that this was a perfect symbol to represent our organization. We are very pleased with the result, and we hope that our membership is too!
