San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit charitable corporation that provides scholarships to law students who have contributed to the Latino community. Our awards go to students who have met our criteria of community service, financial need, hardship and academic achievement. The awards are not limited to persons of a Latino/Latina background, but also include those who have contributed to the betterment of the Latino community. The Fund was formed in 2007 to enhance the charitable activities of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association. To date, the Fund has awarded over $220,000 in scholarships and bar stipends. In 2016 alone, we awarded $41,000 in fall and bar scholarships.
